All I had to do was think about what I needed to happen and what do you know,it happened. Turns out all I needed was a couple of weeks away from the mainland. Two weeks in Hawaii was about as perfect as you can get. I picked up a Pentax Optio W60 to take with me and I'm pretty impressed. It has 10mp, 28mm coverage, it's waterproof so I actually got a couple of underwater shots, and it looks cool to boot. It won't be my primary camera but it is extremely convenient annd compact. I'm trying to connect wth the collective conciousness to see if anyone really is connected in ways other than the normal modes of communication but all I'm getting are busy signals and voicemails. I want to believe that there is more to life than what our eyes perceive but I am losing hope as I evaluate the current situation of the world today. The state of the world through my eyes can be seen as one of constant flux with consistency thrown out the window. But there must be communication if our goal is to better the world. After months of clandestine internet usage because of a situation with a certain internet provider I now have regular net access again, and this time for good most likely. I am picking up an Epson V-750M Pro scanner this week so I will be posting some Ektachrome stuff I shot in California this past November. I've got so much film that needs to be developed and scanned that I'll probably be pretty busy for the next couple of weeks. Luckily, school starts Tuesday so easy times here we come!
